The Centra regional nonprofit healthcare system in Virginia has launched its own food truck that makes weekday stops at the system's various locations to provide onsite meal service, reports the News & Advance. Called Code Fresh, the truck is designed to provide the meal service at a fraction of the cost of putting cafes into each of Centra's growing number of outposts in central and southern Virginia. The food is the same as what is prepared and served at Centra's Lynchburg General and Virginia Baptist hospitals. On weekends, the truck is deployed to various public events around the region to generate extra revenue.
