Food service workers in the U.S. Senate cafeteria have voted not to join a union, reports Roll Call. The 116 eligible employees submitted secret ballots in the vote that took place July 24 on whether or not to join the Workers United Mid-Atlantic Regional Joint Board, a union affiliated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
