Aramark Corp. has acquired SeamlessWeb Professional Solutions, Inc., an Internet-based service that allows a business to offer its employees or customers the ability to order food and other services from local restaurants, caterers, in-house foodservice providers, and other vendors online. Headquartered in New York, SeamlessWeb serves approximately 1,000 clients across dozens of industries throughout the United States and in London. Its clients range from small, local businesses and institutions to Fortune 1000 companies. SeamlessWeb earned the number one ranking among Internet-based services in the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a list of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America. It was also named among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States by Inc. magazine in 2004 and 2005. SeamlessWeb will be integrated within Aramark’s Domestic Food, Hospitality & Facilities unit. Company co-founder/CEO Jason Finger will serve as president of the unit.
