The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Grand Island, NE, has opened a new canteen as part of a general facelift of its entrance and front lobby, reports the Grand Island Independent. The canteen, the VA's name for a cafeteria, was relocated from the second floor to the first floor as part of the remodel. It will feature an updated menu emphasizing healthier options, as well as a retail component that sells electronics, cards and snacks.
