Nestle Acquires Vitality

Nestle’s professional (foodservice) division has acquired Vitality Foodservice Inc., a major supplier of beverages to the foodservice industry. The deal does not include Vitality's European manufacturing and distribution operations. The privately held company is a part of Goldner Hawn Private Equity. The deal is expected to accelerate Nestle’s move into the hot and cold non-carbonated beverage area of the foodservice market.
