Military Cooks Get Weeklong Forum at CIA

Twenty-five cooks from the U.S. Marines, Air Force and Air National Guard spent a week at the annual Armed Forces Forum for Culinary Excellence at the Culinary Institute of America's Greystone, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

The military foodservice pros were selected by the Hennessey Travelers Association's Educational Foundation. Hennessy is an association of volunteers from the food-service and hospitality industries that promotes educational opportunities for members of the armed forces serving in hospitality areas, and helps them pursue careers in foodservice after discharge.
