Paula Amols, assistant director of dining at Cornell University, has been named director of dining at Murray (KY) State University. She succeeds Richard Fritz, who left to take over as dining director at Northern Illinois University at the beginning of the current school year.
Amols has been with Cornell Dining since 1988, starting as a supervisor, before working her way up to assistant director. She will take up her new position at the end of the current semester. At MSU, Amols takes over a program that currently has 3,800 students in its meal plan out of an enrollment of just over 10,000, with 2,778 residents.
