Study Finds No Link Between Obesity and School Junk Food

A new study of nearly 20,000 fifth through eighth graders conducted at Penn State found no correlation between obesity and the availability of so called "junk foods" in the schools attended by the students, reports the New York Times. The study appeared in the January issue of the journal Sociology of Education.
