The mystery (if you're not a culinary expert, at least) of this rather common condiment is here unraveled. For the uninitiated, ingredients include anchovies, tamarind, cloves and chili pepper extract along with more ordinary stuff like salt, vinegar and garlic. But the site doesn't tackle the REAL mystery of Worcestershire Sauce, which is why the heck it's spelled w-o-r-c-e-s-t-e-r-s-h-i-r-e but pronounced WOOstershire. Seems like an awful waste of extra syllables…
