A Real Meal Deal

A man charged with murder in Oregon was recently convicted after he struck a plea deal exchanging some junk food meals in his cell for a guilty plea. He got to enjoy several meals of KFC and Popeye's fried chicken, mashed potatoes, lasagna, pizza, calzones, carrot cake(!) and ice cream in exchange for 30 years of standard prison food in a state lockup. By the way, Durham's crime is also tinged with the culinary. He was charged with killing a man in a dispute over an ice cream truck purchase.
