Detroit Public Schools paid more than $100,000 last year to an unlicensed catering company run out of a school principal’s home, according to a report in the Detroit Free Press. Detroit school records show that the company, Executive Catering, prepared food for numerous student field trips, parent workshops, teacher meetings and staff workshops over the past year.
