Ballpark fare at the new Target Field home of Major League Baseball’s Minnesota Twins will emphasize local favorites, reports the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. The selection at the ballpark’s 28 concession stands and two sit-down restaurants will reportedly include pork chops and walleye on a stick, cheese curds, wild rice soup, and items from popular local eateries like the Murray’s steak sandwich from Mill City Grill and Juicy Lucy burgers from Town Ball Tavern. Otherwise, the range of choices from concessions operator SportService will run the gamut from traditional ballpark fare like nachos, popcorn and peanuts to more cutting edge choices such as gluten-free and vegetarian items.
