Launched in 2004, Southwest has averaged an annual all-organic 20% growth rate and now operates in over 360 individual school locations across six states. Most recently it concluded contracts with Grand Prarie ISD and Leander ISD in Texas and penetrated the California market with a contract with Central Union High School District.

The company offers a range of Culinary Concept brands ranging from Asian to Italian and including such concepts as Luigi’s Eatery (pizzas, calzones, lasagna, etc.) and Red Dragon (Pacific Rim/Asian favorites like teriyaki chicken stir fry and chow mein). A recently introduced Roving Chef program for K-5 lets kids as well as parents and staff interact with Southwest chefs, learning about cooking techniques, food safety and nutrition.
