Garlic Fries, a Safeco Field favorite

Sports Illustrated conducted an online survey this spring, asking readers to rate their hometown ballparks in 10 categories: affordability, atmosphere, tradition, traffic, neighborhood, team quality, fan I.Q., hospitality, promotions, and of course, food.

In the food category, Milwaukee Brewers Miller Park finished first. The home-run food selection at Miller Park includes the signature bratwurst slathered in Secret Stadium Sauce (see Recipe of the Month). “During the off season, I crave the stuff,” raves one fan, on the Secret Stadium Sauce.

Another fan has a thing for a fragrant Seattle Mariners' Safeco Field favorite: “Garlic fries! When someone in your section has them, the smell cannot be ignored, and when you get some for yourself, they're gone like that!” Also found in Seattle: “Barbeque with the ‘Man.’ The ‘Man’ is the hottest sauce you'll ever try. I realize Seattle is not known for spicy barbeque, but trust me, nothing competes with the ‘Man.’”
