NACUFS has announced the winners in the 6th annual NACUFS “Best in the Business” Campus C-Store Contest. The winners are:

• The Corner Store at the University of Rhode Island (Product Mix/Variety);

• Lakeside Market at the University of Alabama (Marketing/Merchandising);

• Norlin Underground at the University of Colorado-Boulder (Making the Most of Limited Space);

• Flatz at California University of Pennsylvania (Foodservice Applications); and

• D-C Store at the University of Nevada-Reno (The Big Idea: Customer Service Innovations).

Earning honorable mentions in the various categories were:

• Earl's Place at the University of California-San Diego (Product Mix/Variety);

• Riverside Emporium at Ball State University (Marketing/Merchandising);

• SIUE Dining Services Union at Southern Illinois University and the Convenience Store at Cuicalli at San Diego State University (Making the Most of Limited Space);

• The Urban Market at Purdue University (Foodservice Appllication); and

• The Lobby Shop at Grand Valley State University (The Big Idea: Customer Service Innovations).
