Patina Looks to Expand Recreation/Arts Business

Former RA unit adds veteran Aramark exec to direct business development efforts.

Patina Restaurant Group has added Michael Tully as director of business development in order to boost business for the company nationwide in segments such as cultural and performing arts centers, museums, sports arenas, aquariums and B&I. Tully comes from Aramark, with whom he served as director of business development for the Sports & Entertainment division in the Western states.

Patina encompasses the former commercial restaurant division of Compass Group’s Restaurant Associates unit that was spun off as an independent company in 2006. It operates restaurants in a number of high-profile onsite venues, including Patina Restaurant in Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Leatherby’s Café Rouge at the Orange County (CA) Performing Arts Center and the Grand Tier Restaurant at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
