Aramark Sets New Rec Sector Unit
Aramark is aligning more than 20 of its museum, zoo, aquarium and science center accounts nationwide into a new unit called Aramark Cultural Attractions. It will be headed led by David Sloma, vice president of operations. He will report directly to Jack O'Brien, president of Aramark Convention Centers & Cultural Attractions.
The newly spun off unit will manage concessions, event planning, premium dining and catering, onsite restaurants, retail merchandise sales and facilities management in the venues.
Current clients include Adventure Aquarium and the Battleship New Jersey Historical Museum in Camden, NJ; the Cape May (NJ) Zoo; the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo; the Experience Music Project and the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle; the Florida Aquarium in Tampa Bay; the Franklin Institute, The Kimmel Center and the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia; the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland; the Maryland Science Center and the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore; the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson; the Nauticus National Maritime Museum and the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, VA; the Oregon Zoo in Portland; the Orlando Science Center; the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia, SC; the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, RI; the St. Louis Science Center; and the United States Mint in Denver and Philadelphia.
