Sodexo Reports 3Q Numbers
U.S. revenues hurt by dollar’s slide.
Sodexo has reported a nine-month revenue increase of 2.5 percent in its 2008 fiscal year, to $16.6 billion (10.2 billion Euros). Revenues in North America were $6.4 billion, thanks in part to new clients like Procter & Gamble and the University of Arkansas.
Revenue growth in the U.S. was hampered by the dollar's steep decline against the Euro. Without exchange rate effects, U.S. revenues grew 5.2 percent, but when the dollar's slide is factored in, they declined 6.5 percent.
