B&I, College & University and K-12 chefs can enter
Creativity in using fresh produce in the culinary arts
United Fresh Produce Association is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Produce Excellence in Foodservice Awards Program, sponsored by PRO*ACT, LLC.
The special program will honor seven outstanding chefs for their use of fresh produce in the culinary arts. Winning chefs will be selected based on creativity in in menu design using fresh produce, proper produce handling procedures, community outreach and recognition among peers. B&I, college and K-12 chefs can be nominated to win.
Winners wll be recognized at the Produce Celebration Gala at the United Fresh 2014 convention in Chicago. Each winner, along with an accompanying corporate executive, will receive complimentary registration to the convention, round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations.
