1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
4 cups Broccoli Wokly mix
2 cups broccoli cole slaw mix
1 cup red onion, slivered
3/4 cup bacon bits or about 7 slices of bacon cut into tiny pieces
1 cup roasted slivered almonds (or nut of your choice such as pine, sunflower seeds, etc.)
1 cup dried cranberries
For the dressing: Whisk ingredients together in a suitable size bowl. Keep chilled.
Very lightly blanch the Broccoli Wokly in boiling water (about one minute). Remove from heat and immediately rinse cold water over the broccoli to stop the cooking process. Let cool.
In a large bowl, combine Broccoli Cole Slaw, red onion, bacon bits, almonds, and dried cranberries. Add cooled broccoli florettes. Toss with dressing to coat. May be prepared in advance. Keep chilled.
