INGREDIENTS: Base Mixture: ½ cup sugar 3/4 cup boiling water grated peel of ½ lemon 6 lemons, juice only (about 1 cup) 2 cups apple juice, chilledDIRECTIONS:Dissolve sugar in boiling water. Add lemon peel and fruit juices. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.To serve by the glass: Combine in a large glass ½ cup lemon appleade base, 1/3 to ½ cup water or club soda and ice cubes. Stir well.
