Pomptonian manages cafeterias and vending operations in over 330 primary and secondary school locations across New Jersey. It has recently been successful at getting more students to choose fresh produce with their meals, partly through its Farm Stand concept, which expands the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables offered daily in schools.

This year, the company introduced its Revolutionizing Pomptonian’s Menus (RPM) program, which features travelling chefs to teach staff members healthy prep techniques at each site. The chefs also interact with customers to encourage them to try the healthy options being featured on the menu that day.
