Hostpital Switches Cafs
Springfield (OH) Regional Medical Center is closing the cafeteria at its Fountain Boulevard campus, which recently converted to an outpatient-only facility, reports the Springfield Sun-News. However, the conversion, which transferred inpatients to the medical center’s High Street campus, has increased business in that location’s cafeteria. The medical center is transferring foodservice staff from Fountain Boulevard to High Street to accommodate the change, and no positions will be cut. Vending machines will be installed in the cafeteria area at Fountain Boulevard to provide a foodservice alternative.
