Unified Acquires A la Cart
Unified Brands has acquired A la Cart, Inc., a privately held vendor of patient meal delivery systems for the healthcare segment. Unified markets primary cooking equipment, cook-chill food production systems, custom fabrication, foodservice refrigeration, ventilation and air handling systems.
“Unified Brands offers A la Cart the resources to do more of what we do best,” says A la Cart President Wade Moyer. “With the ongoing pressure in healthcare to lower costs while simultaneously providing greater meal flexibility and better patient satisfaction, I'm excited about the expanded opportunities Unified Brands brings to the A la Cart product line.”
