Sodexo Acquires In-Home Service Provider

Comfort Keepers offers non-medical services to seniors living independently.

Sodexo has acquired Comfort Keepers, a supplier of non medical in-home services to seniors. The franchise business operates a network of 550 agencies throughout the US.

Founded in 1998 in Dayton, OH, it provides a wide range of in-home companion and personal care services that enable seniors and people in need of support to maintain the highest possible level of independence. Services include companionship, meal preparation and providing assistance with administrative needs, hygiene and outdoor exercise.

Sodexo said that this acquisition reinforces its Quality of Life services offering to seniors as well as its global leadership in the seniors segment.
