For more than ten years, the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) has partnered with PepsiCo Foodservices and Food Management magazine to recognize innovative practices in collegiate retail and convenience store operations through the NACUFS C-Store Best in the Business competition. The competition provides an opportunity for college and university campuses to share stories of their latest improvements and highlight their retail and convenience store best practices.

The categories for competition in 2012 include New Store Design, Updating Your Existing C-Store, The Hybrid C-Store, Innovative Merchandising, and Loss Prevention Best Practices.

The deadline for applying is March 9, 2012. A video tour of the winning entries will be featured at the Neighborhood Market Retail Workshop held July 10-11, 2012, prior to the NACUFS national conference in Boston.
