The Wayne County Airport Authority has selected Delaware North’s Travel Hospitality Services subsidiary to expand the food and retail options at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s new North Terminal. Under an expanded contract, Travel Hospitality Services will open three new restaurants and a travel convenience store in the new terminal by year’s end. They will include a second location of Hockeytown Café, whose downtown Detroit location was ranked as the second best sports bar in America by ESPN2, as well as a unit of the European bistro concept Le Petit Bistro and a TGI Fridays. Travel Hospitality Services already operates 19 restaurants and specialty retail shops in the Detroit Metro Airport’s other terminals.
