Jacques Wilson, executive chef at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA (Hotels/Healthcare category); and
Jenilee McComb, director of childhood nutrition programs at Provo (UT) School District (K-12 Schools category).
Sponsored by Pro*Act LLC, the awards program honors chefs for their innovative uses of produce in the culinary arts. Over a hundred nominations were submitted by UFPA members among the six categories, which also included casual, quick-serve and fine-dining restaurants. The winners will be presented their awards during the 2011 United Fresh convention in New Orleans May 2-5.
