Scott Smith Honored by ADA

Joyce Scott Smith, director of food/nutrition and dietetic internship at the UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside, Shadyside Campus, in Pittsburgh, has been named a 2009 Medallion Award winner by the American Dietetic Association. She will be presented her award at ADA's annual Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo in Denver in October. ADA's Medallion honor those who have shown dedication to the high standards of the dietetics profession through active participation, leadership and devotion to serving others in dietetics and allied health fields.
