Schoonover Named to Head UW-Madison Dining

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has named Joie Schoonover director of dining and culinary services at its Division of University Housing. She had served as the dining services director at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville since June 2008 after being promoted from associate director.

Prior to joining the UW-Platteville staff in 2002, Schoonover held positions at the University of Iowa, University of Missouri-Columbia and Knox College in Galesburg, IL. At UW-Madison, she will oversee a dining and catering operation with an annual operating budget of $20 million and one that employs approximately 45 managerial, 90 hourly, and 1100 student staff.
