Prep School's Farm Grows Enough Veggies to Meet All Its Dining Needs

The Hotchkiss School, a prestigious co-ed prep school in the Berkshires near New York City, owns a 280-acre working farm that supplies enough vegetables to feed the school's 900+ students and staff into next year, reports the New York Times. The farm also houses chickens and beef cattle and provides students with an opportunity to participate in working the farm and learning about how food is produced.
