Ovations Inks First MLS Deal

Ovations Food Services has signed a 10-year concessions deal for the Major League Soccer stadium under construction in Chester, PA, near Philadelphia, reports Sports Business Journal. This would be the first MLS deal for Ovations, which operates catering and concessions at dozens of convention centers, fairgrounds, performing arts centers, amphitheaters, and college and minor league arenas and stadiums, as well as for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers. Chester Stadium will be home to a Philadelphia-based MLS expansion franchise expected to begin play in 2010.
