Organic Eggs No Better Than Standard:USDA

Organic eggs are no more nutritious than factory farmed eggs, according to a USDA study reported in Time magazine. That's despite costing at least twice as much on average as mass produced eggs. Among other surprising results: factory eggs tend to have fewer environmental contaminants than those laid by free-range chickens because the animals' food is less controlled. Also, counter to popular belief, brown eggs are not "healthier" than white because the color is entirely a function of the breed of hen laying the egg and has nothing to do with its environment or diet.
