Middlebury Dining Makes Offer They Can't Refuse to Students Who Don't Return Dishes

Middlebury College Dining Director Matthew Biette has gone all Godfather on students who take dishes from the school dining halls and don't return them, reports the Middlebury Chronicle. The YouTube video with Biette asking a Godfatherish "Aunt Des" to help solve the problem is here.

Middlebury Dining allows students to take food and dishes out of the dining halls whenever they wish because of its universal dining policy, but the problem of students damaging or not returning the dishes has cost the department nearly $50,000 in replacement costs.
