Memphis City Schools and the city's NBA franchise, the Memphis Grizzlies, are partnering on an initiative called Healthy Home Court that seeks to encourage high school students to eat a healthy breakfast, either at home or at school, daily. As part of the program, Grizzlies players are visiting the schools while the schools are also holding assemblies, family fitness events and social activities both at the high schools and at other district sites to bring home the message about healthy lifestyles and the importance of a good breakfast. The program includes the donation of breakfast carts to all district high schools. Healthy Home Court is sponsored by Kellogg's Food Away From Home.
