LA Gov't Building Cafeteria Reopens to Outside Customers

The Los Angeles Dept. of Water & Power is reopening its basement cafeteria to the public after concessionaire Sodexo threatened to pull out of its contract due to reduced revenues, reports local station KPCC. The eatery was closed to outsiders in September 2010 over security concerns, but will begin admitting them again in January (with ID check and sign-in) after the department renegotiated its deal with Sodexo.
