Illinois Tool Works Nabs Enodis

Enodis plc has accepted a $2.3 billion buyout offer from Illinois Tool Works, Inc., declining an earlier $2.1 billion offer from Manitowoc Co., Inc. Any buyout of Enodis would have to receive regulatory approval in the United Kingdom and U.S., as well as shareholder approval.
