Heineken USA has opened its first branded luxury airport bar in the U.S., the Heineken Lounge, at Newark Liberty International Airport, in a partnership with Delaware North Cos. Located in Terminal C and with a 75-person seating capacity, the Heineken Lounge serves the brewer’s products both on-draught and in bottles, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage brands, gourmet snacks and light meals. Meanwhile, flat-screen televisions display footage from Heineken-sponsored sporting, film and music events. Newark's Heineken Lounge operates from 9 am to 9 pm.
