FNS Undersecretary Named

Former Iowa State Human Services Director Kevin Concannon has been nominated to be USDA Undersecretary for Food and Nutrition Services. The White House had earlier nominated former SNA President Dr. Janey Thompson to be deputy undersecretary of the department. Concannon had served as human services director in Iowa under former governor Tom Vilsak, who is now Secretary of Agriculture.
