Crothall Services Group, a division of Compass Group North America, has acquired Southeast Service Corp., a Tennessee-based provider of contract-cleaning services to schools, businesses and industry under the name Service Solutions. The price was $65 million is cash for the company, which had 2009 revenues of $153 million.
“We are excited about this key acquisition, which will give us an immediate foothold in the education market,” says Crothall Chief Executive Bobby Kutteh. “We are convinced that the quality service provided by Southeast Service Corp. will be a strong addition to our growing support-service business and a significant complement to Compass’ food-service offering in this particular market.”
