Centerplate has inked a long-term contract with Tourism Whistler, which operates the TELUS Whistler Conference Centre in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Centerplate is scheduled take over food and beverage operations next fall. "We are delighted to have been chosen as the exclusive food and beverage provider for one of western Canada’s most impressive convention venues," says Centerplate President/CEO Janet Steinmayer. "It will be a perfect complement to Centerplate’s existing partnership with the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, where we have overseen the culinary operations of award-winning events for 20 years."
