Bowling Green State University has begun charging students 25 cents for a cup of water following a late night water fight incident in the school's Marco's Pizza outlet, reports the BG News. Cups of water had previously been provided at no charge. Now, only students getting water with a meal will receive it at no charge. Dining Director Mike Paulus told the BG News that the new charge policy also helps defray the cost of the cup, lid and straw that comes with providing the water and discourages students from getting into line just for water, which can put off other students looking for food but reluctant to wait out a seemingly long line.
