Aramark recently sent a letter to its secondary suppliers in the United Kingdom that demanded price reductions of at least 12 percent in order to continue to do business with the company, reports FoodManufacture.co.uk. The letter, from Aramark UK COO Mark Faulkner, explains that the company is seeking to reduce duplication and distribution inefficiencies by consolidating its supplier relationships.
