Huge Kosher Event for AIPAC Caterers

Centerplate/NBSE, the concessions operator at Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, recently catered its biggest ever kosher dinner during the closing banquet of the recent three-day annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, according to bizbash.com. The company set up nine kitchens and brought in 700 servers to handle the nearly 10,000 guests. It koshered all the convention center's kitchens while a subcontractor, Foremost Caterers, prepared the main course of capon stuffed with challah, peaches, and raisins.
