Army Hospital Rolls Out New Healthy Menu for New Year

The St. Martin's dining facility at the Beaumont (TX) Army Medical Center has revamped its entire retail menu, more than 200 recipes, to make them healthier, reports the El Paso Times. The new options, which include no fried foods, 90-percent lean ground beef and reduced fat and sugar in all baked goods, were introduced this month to coincide with traditional weight loss and healthier living resolutions made by people at the New Year.
