Made this tonight. My husband and I weren't too keen on the barbecue sauce. The rest was great! Next time, we decided we'd substitute that with homemade green salsa.

When I read this I thought the bbq sauce was weird so I substituted tomato sauce because that's what I use when making regular tacos. Try it out!

I made it with half salsa and half bbq sauce. It was great that way, the bbq cut the spiciness of the salsa, and the salsa made it taste more like a taco. I made mine in a pie plate and served it in slices.

Halved the BBQ sauce. Needs less taco seasoning cause it's salty. Baked in 9" cake pan...worked great
