Ovations is part of the Comcast-Spectacor entertainment conglomerate. The parent company also owns the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers as well as the Wells Fargo Center arena in which they (as well as the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers) play home games and it operates a 24-hour sports programming network and several public assembly management, marketing and ticketing firms.  

In 2013, Ovations named Steve Gregosky SVP-Client Relations and Charles Lawrence SVP-Business Development and also added seven-year industry veteran Jen Zick as regional VP-business development/west. The company had entered into the zoo business in 2012 through a contract with Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. In 2013, it expanded that business through food & beverage management services contracts with the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford and Jungle Island in Miami Beach.
