FMG operates kitchens in some 130 hospital locations. It also does a brisk business (about a quarter of revenues) licensing its food management software to around a thousand healthcare customers.
In 2013, FMG introduced its greaseless cooking Green Kitchen menu platform to all customers. It also expanded its restaurant style menu service to include special diets to help senior living clients.
FMG says going forward it plans to leverage the demand in the healthcare industry for consistent QA programs that boost patient satisfaction and lead to increased third-party reimbursements.
