Fiscal 2013 Sales Volume: $53,900,000

In late 2012, the former HHA Services was acquired by the ABM integrated solutions and facility management firm. Last November, HHA was integrated with two other units, ABM Health and Healthcare Parking Systems of America under the new ABM Healthcare Support Services brand. It supplies clients with an array of outsourced functions from foodservice management to medical equipment maintenance/service, information technology management, security, environmental services, laundry/linen and patient transport. The listed volume is revenue from dining operations only.

In the past year, the dining unit continued to expand retail options with new recipes and introducing new concepts in the entrée, deli and salad bar stations. It also expanded culinary theme promotions featuring world cuisine and its Well Being (food and health) program.

ABM HSS also worked with The Partnership for Healthier America and began a sodium reduction initiative as well as additional nutrition information programs throughout the company’s retail sites.

The unit also continues to expand a partnership with the Veggie U not-for-profit organization with the goal of helping children understand sustainable agriculture and healthy food choices, and it supports Chefs Move to Schools, part of the Let’s Move! campaign to combat childhood obesity, as a way to demonstrate commitment to the communities in which it operates.
