Strawberry After-Dinner Cocktail
INGREDIENTS:4-6 cups Driscoll’s strawberries,
sliced
2 cups red wine, light-bodied
2 cups powdered sugar
3 ounces Triple Sec DIRECTIONS:Combine all ingredients and
mix with a wooden spoon. Cover and refrigerate for 3 days. Strain
mixture carefully, and reserve the berries. (They make an excellent
sorbetto when pureed, and then frozen in an ice cream maker
according to manufacturer’s directions.)
Serve berry liquid, well chilled, as a refreshing after-dinner
